I hope your Toys R Us has them! I looked in two, and one had them and the other didn't. They both had a size that was a little bit larger than this 5" one, but it was probably too large for use with AGs. (Not that scale is always that important, though!)

Hm, the first one I went to was a strike out. If I have time today (I have to get ready for my birthday party tonight, which means I have to clean) I might check another one...

I'm sorry yours didn't have them. I felt really bad not finding them when I looked in the second Toys R Us, because I realized they might be hard for everyone to find. If it would help, you could call ahead and ask if they have "5" Berenguer Baby 'It's Just Baby Fat' dolls that run about $2."
I posted the photos before my mom saw the doll's new outfit and blanket (it's for her to use with her My Twinn). She was so happy! It made my day.
Good luck with finding them! I hope you can.

No problem . I like the hunt of looking for hard to find toys almost as much as I like getting the hard to find toys. I think calling is a good idea, but I might check anyways because sometimes people will say "no" without looking.

I found them! Yipee!
They are actually "Lots to Love Babies" and say under that "It's Just Baby Fat." The come in cardboard flat back packaging with clear plastic fronts and sides and hang from a hook. They are the 5 inch soft vinyl dolls, and Melissa is right, the pics she posted don't due them justice. They are really, really cute--especially considering the price. They only had two styles of clothes on the ones at my Toys R Us--and two of each style, so I bought all four that they had. I figured we had to have at least three, so my daughters and I would each have one! If you guys want to call your store to see if they have them, the UPC code on the package is: 43657 16720
Melissa, do you know how many different styles of clothes there are on these dolls? And are the dolls identical except for the clothes? The package says "collect them all" and I'm wondering if the clothes are the only difference between them.
Edited to add: Their website is www.jctoys.com. There is a dealer search function using your zipcode on that site. But the funny thing is that Toys R Us did NOT come up as a dealer! And these dolls I couldn't find on the website--their item # is 16720.

I am in TRUS almost everyday with my job and I found them today. There was maybe 10 or 12 and there was at least 3 different faces. If anyone wants one let me know. Its no problem for me to ship as TRUS is 1 mile one way and the PO is 1 mile the other way. love my small town.

Just opened up the package, and wanted to warn folks: these are scented dolls! They smell like baby powder, and the scent is fairly strong. I think the smell is cute, but wanted to warn those of you who might be sensitive due to allergies.
